FIFA & World Health Organization

The challenge

During the COVID-19 crisis, FIFA wanted to amplify its safety campaign developed in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and reach mainstream media globally.​

The method

We worked with FIFA to optimise the video news release (VNR), including an editorial writeup and hosting on the dedicated Coronavirus pages on thenewsmarket.com. ​

The outcome

The content was distributed to our network of 36,000+ registered journalists in 190 countries and promoted via our social media platforms. Our in-house media relations team were on hand to deal with media requests.​
