The challenge

Film and produce mini-documentary videos to highlight issues surrounding clean water, sanitation and COVID-19, to be shown between musical acts during the 4 #TOGETHERLIVE - #TOGETHERBAND concerts.​

The method

Filmed in the favelas of Rio and São Paulo, conducting interviews with residents and sanitation experts, as well as using drones for wider shots. Each of the mini documentaries featured footage, soundbites, music and high-end graphics.​

The outcome

Watched on YouTube by 290,000+ people and with fantastic social media engagement, TheNewsMarket was recommissioned to create videos for the next concert in Mexico.​
